The idea for a self service laundry in Malaysia, was first mooted by Smart Wash Sdn Bhd. The company which was founded with the vision to provide quality laundry service was first started in 1998, as a subsidiary of JM Venture Sdn Bhd, a 100% Bumiputra status company.

The concept of self service laundry was so successful; it now has over 48 outlets in various universities, condominiums and residential areas all over Malaysia.
